Avi Shai is an executive, leadership and organizational coach and consultant that brings a successful track record of over three decades as a leader of large teams with companies such as Google (Cloud, Search), VMware, NICE and as a co-founder of smaller startup teams. He brings a unique depth of experience in leading large and small organizations and teams in different phases and sizes. He couples this experience with a passion for mentoring and coaching that supports individuals, managers and teams in their journey of becoming high performing and user-focused.

For teams and organizations, Avi’s strength is in supporting managers’ and leaders' development to elevate their leadership and management skills, and to improve individuals’ and teams’ performance.

For individuals, Avi is combining his leader, mentor, supporter and coach hats with a deep commitment to the success and well being of every person. He enables individuals to better understand their core values, what motivates them and how to be happy and successful.

Avi offers his wealth of skills and experience in an artful balance of coaching, mentoring, advising and consulting.

Avi was a senior engineering director with Google Search, Google Cloud and VMware. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Avi was born in Israel and has been living in California for more than 20 years. Married with two sons that combine the love of music with computer science, Avi enjoys diving in the big blue sea and listening to classical music.
