As Elevate continues to grow, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us bring our work to more companies by building strong early relationships with prospective clients and generating qualified pipeline for our Account Executive team.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Sales and is focused on booking meetings and generating pipeline for the sales team through a mix of inbound lead conversion and strategic outbound prospecting. You will play a key role in both sides of our top of funnel motion by converting inbound interest from channels like SEO, organic search, referrals, and marketing activity, while also creating thoughtful outbound outreach that opens doors with leaders across People, HR,  L&D, and functional leadership teams.

In this role, you will help drive new business growth by securing first meetings with prospective clients, qualifying prospects, and handing off strong opportunities to the Account Executive team. You will be responsible for building pipeline through both fast, thoughtful follow up on inbound demand and personalized outbounding targeted to our ideal customer profile.

What you’ll do

  • Execute a high volume of daily inbound and outbound activities with a strong focus on personalization and quality
  • Convert inbound leads from SEO, organic search, referrals, and marketing channels into qualified first meetings
  • Build and run personalized outbound sequences targeted to our ideal customer profile
  • Research prospects and accounts to craft personalized outreach targeted to the right people.
  • Articulate Elevate’s value proposition clearly and credibly to leaders across People, HR, Talent, L&D, and functional leadership teams
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects to assess fit, confirm interest, and hand off strong opportunities to the Account Executive team.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to refine qualification, outreach strategy, and top of funnel process
  • Collaborate with marketing by sharing feedback on lead quality, messaging, and themes emerging from prospect conversations
  • Track activity, pipeline progress, and trends across the top of the funnel and bring insights to the team regularly
  • Use tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Claude, and other AI tools to improve efficiency, personalization, and outcomes
  • Help strengthen and document the SDR playbook as the function continues to grow

What you’ll need to be successful

  • 1+ years of experience as an SDR, ideally in a role with both inbound and outbound responsibility
  • Strong track record of performance and consistently exceeding goals
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with prospects
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage priorities well
  • Strong coachability and a genuine desire for feedback, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Process and systems thinker who enjoys improving workflows and using tools effectively
  • Collaborative mindset and excitement about helping build and improve how the team works
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, BANT, or Challenger
  • Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Claude or other AI tools or similar tools

Compensation

  • Compensation includes base pay plus variable compensation
  • Variable pay is uncapped
